There is something remarkable about your baby turning one. The amount of growth and change they experience in the first year of their life is tremendous. And there is no better way to remember how much they’ve grown than with our one year milestone sessions. These are so much fun and packed full of darling images.

We begin with a design consultation where we meet in person to plan the details for your one year milestone session. At the design consult I’ll make sure you feel well prepared for your session. We’ll talk about your style and the types of images you want me to create for your family. I have hundreds of darling dresses, rompers and dapper outfits in all sizes. Not to mention hundreds of props, backdrops and everything you need for a unique photo session.

Your one year milestone session can include the whole family. I typically like to capture a family photo, sibling images if applicable as well as individual parent images. I love to place special emphasis on mommy images. Spoil yourself by adding professional hair and makeup to your session with the talented Victoria Pepen Beauty. And choose from any of our over 200 couture gowns.

At one year milestone sessions I love to let your little one explore and get messy. This traditionally has included a cake smash but more and more I’ve been offering my clients alternatives to the cake smash. Paint smashes are fun and you get to take home a one of a kind hand-painted art piece. Or sometimes we pick a favorite food for your little one and use that instead.

After your baby gets to explore and make a mess we typically finish the session with a bubble bath. Most babies love baths so this is always a big hit.
