Providing maternity gowns for our photoshoots is just one of the many things we offer to make your experience at Lindsay Walden Photography a luxurious one. I’ve been wanting to post a blog sharing all of our beautiful maternity gowns for a while now but I always run into the problem of having recently purchased new ones. Haha! Good problem to have! Despite the fact that just today I received a shipment with a fabulous couture gown from Australia, I’m going to go ahead and share the gowns that I’ve photographed and are available as part of your maternity photography session. I should note that all of these gowns are available for non-maternity sessions as well!
First up are the beautiful grey and silver maternity gown selections. Whether you want something classic or something more vogue, all of these options are stunning.
You can’t go wrong with classic black. While it may seem like a simple color, I do so love offering several different styling options in black.
White is perfectly elegant for your maternity session. I love the hint of skin you can see in some cases. In addition to offering an assortment of colors I also offer gowns that come in many sizes. From extra small to plus size I have options for every woman.
Off-white and cream are also instant classics. Isn’t it amazing how many different looks we can create in studio?
These beige maternity gowns can sometimes read a little like blush as well depending on how I photograph them and your skin tones. This soft tulle photographs so beautifully. I also have a collection of darling little girl and older girl gowns that coordinate perfectly with many of my maternity gowns. I’ll have to create a post of just those one day. But again, my problem is I’m constantly buying new ones to add to the collection.
Love these classic, neutral colors. Most of our gowns have quite a bit of stretch so they will work for a lot of body-types.
Ah pink! From soft peachy-pink to rose pink to salmon pink. We’ve got you covered.
And if you think I have a lot of pink options just wait until we get to the blues!
Yellow can either be soft and subdued or striking and bold. Before your session, I invite you to meet me in the studio for a design consultation. During this consultation, we’ll talk about everything you need to know about your session, what you want your images to look like and I’ll help with gown selection, finding those colors that complement your skin well.
Red happens to be one of my favorite colors. It is always striking in an image. From bright reds to wine red I love them all for maternity gowns.
Purple is one of those colors that you have to have in lots of different shades. From mauve to a dusty purple to a rich purple.
And we can’t leave out the blues. Goodness I have a lot of them. Soft baby blues are a must as are steel blues.
Navy and cobalt blue are also popular choices for maternity gowns. Such elegant colors.
Then we move into that middle zone between blues and greens. I love minty colors and teals. Notice that many of our maternity gowns are also used for the newborn session to create lovely before and after images.
And last but not least are shades of green. I love how many different looks we can create with these gowns.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this special tour of our client closet. These gowns are for the exclusive use of our clients. Many gowns are one of a kind and couture. I love finding things that are special for my clients to use. For more information or to schedule your design consult you can contact me here.
