Step into a storybook world with our Fairy Tale Newborn Photography series — where imagination meets artistry. Each setup is handcrafted in our Dallas-area studio, blending color, texture, and light to create fine-art images as unique as your baby’s story.
The setup above was inspired by the famous European fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood.
I’m so excited to share a few favorites from this new collection of fairy-tale newborn sessions. Inspired by some of our favorite classic stories, these rich colors, layered textures, and gentle storytelling elements bring each photograph to life.
Each fine-art setup is created completely in-studio using custom props, sculpted felt landscapes, and soft newborn-safe fabrics. For this series we combined earthy tones and dreamlike scenery to create pieces that feel as if they were painted, not photographed.
The Little Mermaid -themed scene was especially fun to design — complete with shells and shimmering blues. For another look, I recreated a forest clearing kissed with morning light. Every setup is styled to ensure the baby’s comfort and safety while giving parents heirloom-quality artwork they’ll treasure for years.

To celebrate the traditional English nursery rhyme Jack and Jill, we created this adorable hand felted backdrop. What a great story they will one day be able to tell as they share this with their own children.
And one of my favorite nursery rhymes, Little Miss Muffet. Now that is one cute spider!
