When designing newborn girl sessions parents will often ask that we incorporate flowers into a few images. There is nothing that represents that soft and delicate femininity that each little girl celebrates than gorgeous silk flowers. We love designing each of these images to be completely unique. Whether it is incorporating mom’s favorite type of flower or the colors they love or the vintage or antique feel that is her style, we want to design an image that will bring tears to her eyes as she marvels not just at the beauty of the image, but the beauty of her most precious daughter.

The designs for these images are only limited by the imagination of your photographer and artist, Lindsay. And even then she is so often inspired by your own fun and creative ideas.Succulents were very trendy this past year and we loved incorporating this slightly different twist on a “flower” for a number of images.And sometimes the arrangements we use are inspired more by spring and blooming trees than flowers that grown in a garden. We have an assortment of props we can use to fit any style.One of our favorites to use with little girls is the array of baby blue and purple flowers that were used to create this stunning image. Each flower is hand placed to achieve just the right look for the image. Once the arrangement is made Lindsay will select the wraps, bonnets, or tiebacks to adorn your little one and complement the rest of the image. Her goal is to make sure that your eye is immediately drawn to the baby. We just love when your little ones are alert for their pictures!Before each newborn girl session Lindsay will pull out the props, flowers, outfits, whatever it is she needs to design your unique images. We love this part of the design process. So many fun options to choose from!Our floral arrangements aren’t just for our newborn sessions. We love incorporating them into the designs for our cute sitter sessions as well.
