Creating unique newborn photography is what my brand is all about. Not only is each session unique but it is completely customized to the individual client. Walk through a session with me and allow me to show you what goes into designing some of these beautiful images.

This first image incorporates an idea I had been hoping to try for some time. I just needed the right client. My hope was to use a piece of art created by the parent of one of my sweet newborns and to incorporate the baby into the painting. When I met with this client for their pre-session consultation the dad brought up the fact that mom loved to paint. When they showed me a few of her paintings I knew I had found the right clients to see my idea come to life. The background painting was completely made by hand by my lovely client. I had them scan the painting into a digital file and then I planned how I would photograph baby in the studio. I was then able to composite the two images together creating a final, deeply meaningful piece of art.

Baby’s mom is also a professor at a local university. I designed this set-up to celebrate this important aspect of their lives and the influence that it will surely have on this sweet boy as he grows up.

My clients also love to travel the world. So I created two images that I felt represented that interest. The first a bold cultural print and the next representative of the vivid colors and feel of world travel.

This final image was a special request from the family. They wanted an image that celebrated baby’s name, Noah. How perfect is he in his little ark?
