I truly am blessed as a newborn photographer to have a job that I absolutely love. Sure it is hard work and it isn’t all glamorous. I end up getting peed, pooped and spit up on at least once during every session. It’s just part of the job. But being around these precious little one’s and their families is such an honor and privilege. As a newborn photographer I spend a lot of time cuddling with and soothing these sweet babies and it always makes my heart happy. I love seeing little aspects of their personality that are apparent at such a young age. This handsome guy was so sweet our entire session.
And he was very expressive.
Love, love, love his little grin! He posed for three of the Newborn Masterpiece Collection series as well. A darling moon in Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Starry Night.
Hilarious screamer in Edvard Munch’s The Scream.
And a seriously cute water jug in Paul Cezanne’s still life.
In addition we celebrated his heritage and Chinese birth year, the year of the Monkey.
And we took some very sleepy photos.
We ended the session with several darling poses to add variety to his gallery of artwork. What a darling session!
This pose is a modified taco pose. I love his little toes peeking out.
The traditional bum up pose is always one of my favorites. The little back rolls kill me every time! So cute.
Sideline pose is of course darling. This is totally how I sleep.
Everyone’s favorite. The froggy pose. Slightly modified for this little guy who didn’t like having his legs forward.
And I love how peaceful and sweet this pose is. Makes me want to go cuddle up in bed under a quilt.
