One of my goals as a newborn photographer is to provide my clients with unique artwork that is a reflection of their family, their interests and the things they value. Together with the client we design each photography session so it is uniquely theirs. A great deal of forethought goes into each image that is created so that ultimately the finished artwork displayed in a client’s home is full of meaning and connection.
To celebrate this sweet boy’s rich heritage we incorporated the Year of the Monkey as part of his session. Isn’t he handsome?
I meet with each of my newborn photography clients a few months before their due date for a pre-session consultation at my studio in Hurst, TX. This consult is a great time to get to know each other and talk about themes, style, color and the overall aesthetic for the session. We will talk about how you will display your artwork and begin to envision what that art will look like. The consult is also a wonderful opportunity to learn everything you need to know to be well prepared for your newborn session.
This little guys parents love art so our model was a part of multiple famous paintings. The first is inspired by Paul Cezanne’s iconic still life paintings.
And then of course he makes an adorable moon in Vincent van Gogh’s Starry Starry Night.
And is so sweet in Edvard Munch’s The Scream.
If only I had caught him yawning like this for Munch’s masterpiece!
He was such a darling little subject to photograph. And look at all of that beautiful hair!
He seemed pretty happy about things as well.
Such a sweet little boy and a dream to photograph!
And the sweetest parents as well. How beautiful is his mother!? Absolutely gorgeous.
I am currently booking clients with newborns due January through May, 2017. I would love to meet you for your pre-session consultation to begin designing your very own newborn photography session.
