Goodness, I’ve been a busy bee and my poor blog has suffered from some serious neglect. But the past few months have been full of darling newborn photography sessions and stunning maternity sessions. So many beautiful babies! It’s time I shared a few.
This image I had planned in my head for months before I was able to create it for a client. I love the colors and leading lines that direct your eye to the adorable subject. The image is a composite of three images. The background was too large to photograph in one image and I avoid standing on a ladder when photographing newborns. This image was recently featured as the best child’s photograph by a prominent fine art magazine.
I love my job as a newborn photographer in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I create gorgeous images for wonderful families that they will treasure for generations AND I get my fill of baby cuddles while I’m at it. Soothing and rocking your baby to sleep in between set-ups is not only part of the job but one of the best parts!
It’s no wonder that this little guy is so good-looking. His mom came in a couple of months before he was born for her maternity photography session and she is stunning.
For her maternity photos, we did two sessions. One outdoors and one in-studio, including a lovely maternity milk bath.
During newborn sessions, I love to use a macro lens and focus on the tiny features and details that we adore so much. Those beautiful lashes, sweet lips, noses, feet, and hands. Our babies grow too fast so capturing these important details while they are little is incredibly important.
I am booking clients with due dates through April. Please reserve your newborn and maternity photography session soon as these sessions are very limited and generally are booked a couple of months in advance.
