High end strollers

As a fine art newborn photographer, I have the opportunity to meet a lot of families with new babies. While each of my clients is different, the overriding similarity is that they all want the very best for their new baby. Because of this, I get to see and learn about some of the latest and best baby products on the market. I’ve become somewhat of an expert on things like what high-end stroller or baby bottle is best. So today, I’d like to share with you nine of the best high-end strollers and prams I’ve heard of.

If you’re a new parent looking for a stylish pram or a high-end stroller, check out our list of prams and strollers tailored to different lifestyles. Find the right one for you below.

1. Silver Cross Surf, Aston Martin Edition

—for the car enthusiast; limited edition

Silver Cross makes beautiful strollers in its own right, but when they team up with Aston Martin, you know the result will be luxurious. The Silver Cross Surf, Aston Martin edition, is a limited-edition version of an already-great stroller. Only 600 of these high-end strollers were made, and they all sold out, so if you see this collector’s item for sale anywhere, you should snatch it up — you’ll likely be the only person you know who has this beautiful piece of precision engineering.

Just like Aston Martin’s cars, the Surf is handcrafted out of deluxe materials, like leather handles, cashmere baby blankets, and windproof performance fabrics, to achieve the high-end look that Aston Martin boasts. It has a beautifully smooth ride as well, sporting an air-ride suspension. If you need your pushchair to match your car, this is the ride for your little one.

2. Silver Cross Balmoral Pram

—for royalty (and other elegant individuals)

Another pram of Silver Cross make, this is a carriage favored by royalty such as Prince William and Kate Middleton for their children, but the tradition goes all the way back to when Queen Elizabeth II was an infant. The Balmoral has an iconic look, combining tradition with luxury—if you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind pram, this beautiful piece of British engineering is it.

Handcrafted with exquisite detail work, elegant white tires, and a C-spring chassis that creates a bouncy yet smooth gliding motion to help cushion bumps, this is the epitome of comfort for your baby. It even includes a clip-in shopping basket for storing necessities underneath the carriage.

3. Bugaboo Donkey

—for the growing family

The Bugaboo Donkey is the perfect option for a growing family and is the side-by-side stroller you’ve been looking for. It fits through standard doorways, sitting at 29 inches wide at most, but it also has slimmer configurations. Because any mom is a busy mom but you’re especially busy if you have multiple children, this pushchair is manufactured with convenience in mind. All the fabric is machine-washable because no mom has time to wait for their stroller to air-dry.

This high-end stroller offers a side storage basket for when you only have one kid around, but it converts easily for when your next comes along. Whichever configuration you’re using, the stroller is easy to push and maneuver with a single hand and is only 33 pounds with both seats on. Plus, your baby and toddler can face one another while you’re out and about, cutting down on boredom and strengthening their bond as siblings.

4. iCandy Peach London

—for the mom on the go

The iCandy Peach London is perfect if you’re the type of parent who’s always itching to be somewhere. Late for a get-together? This stroller has a one-touch buckle, one-hand fold, and one-hand recline, so you can get yourself all ready and then quickly get your baby out the door and comfy too—all while holding your stuff in one hand.

Going on a road trip? This pushchair includes both car seat adaptors and a bassinet that your baby can sleep in without you having to worry, and it folds down flat to fit nicely in the back seat of a car or in the trunk.

Plus, a busy mom like you doesn’t want to have to worry about getting a new car seat for a while—luckily, the iCandy Peach London is suitable for babies from birth up to 55 pounds, and it’s only a 27.5-pound stroller itself!

Bonus: iCandy Peach Blossom Twin

—for the mom on the go (with twins)

The iCandy Peach Blossom Twin has all the same great features of the iCandy Peach London, but doubled. If you’re a busy mom who’s been surprised with twins, this is the high-end stroller for you. Plus, it’s only $550 more than the original—a steal of a deal for how much value it brings.

5. Joolz Geo2

—for the ecofriendly

The Joolz Geo2 is the epitome of ecofriendly. Not only is it made with organic, sustainable materials, but the company is also committed to sustainability, so they plant a tree in the Joolz Birth Forest in Colombia every time a stroller is bought. The Geo2 also has a lifetime warranty, so you know it will last, and you don’t have to worry about the carbon footprint of buying other baby gear because it’s adaptable for a second child, can be used as a high chair, and is suitable for babies from birth up to 55 pounds.

If you’re a friend of nature, then you probably also like to visit natural wonders, so the Geo2‘s all-terrain features are a major plus. Each puncture-proof wheel has its own suspension, so the bumps won’t bother your baby, and if you’re not quite ready to expose your little one to all the vagaries of weather, you can put down the sunhood, which has a UPF of 50+ and includes ventilation, or you can attach the raincover.

6. Stokke Trailz

—for the outdoorsy family

While the Geo2 is suitable for the outdoors, the Stokke Trailz is made for it. If you want to give your baby a comfortable experience, this is the high-end stroller to use, whether it’s raining or the unforgiving sun is beating down—it has a waterproof basket and a water-repellent UPF 50+ extended canopy. Built with lots of padding and an ergonomic seat, it’s adjustable to keep even the tiniest baby comfy and snug. Despite all that padding, it still allows airflow, with ventilation in the base and a breathable mattress. The canopy also includes ventilation and a window.

Because you probably don’t want to hike around with an extra crib, it also has a sleep position for camping and lockable swivel front wheels. Plus, this versatility doesn’t just extend to the nighttime—the stroller has 3 parent-facing positions and 2 forward-facing positions, letting your child sleep, rest, or enjoy the world around them as they wish.

7. Stokke Xplory

—for the tight-knit family

If you value how tight-knit your family is or you just want to increase those bonds, the Stokke Xplory is the stroller for you. It’s height-adjustable so that you can put it in a comfortable spot for you and enjoy the naturally increased eye contact, and it can be used at the table so your baby can join the family at dinner and everyone can play with them easily. It even has a large, detachable shopping bag, so there’s no need to leave your baby at home with a sitter—you can just bring them along when you need to get groceries.

Plus, enjoy an all-season canopy and puncture-free wheels so your baby can join you on the family walk over gravel and other city or park terrain in any weather. There are even reflective strips around the whole thing so that your walk can be at any time of day, and it includes one-push braking and a sibling board to keep the whole family safe on your walks.

8. Bugaboo Bee 6

—for the city girl

If you live in the city, you know that space is at a premium. The Bugaboo Bee 6 is a high-end stroller made for those times when you know you won’t have space but you want to bring your baby along with you anyways. It features a self-standing mechanism, which makes it easy to store in a closet or stand up by your table in a crowded restaurant, and it’s quite compact for easy transport.

The Bee 6 is easy to steer and can be pushed with one hand for when the space in your arms is scarce, and it has an advanced suspension, helping your baby to feel fewer bumps and therefore take longer naps without startling awake. Plus, since cities get all kinds of weather just like anywhere else, the Bee 6 also has good ventilation and includes lots of seasonal add-ons like stylish sun canopies and footmuffs. At only 20.8 pounds, it’s the perfect stroller to take with you on public transportation.

9. Babyzen YOYO+

—for the air traveler

While the Bee 6 is great for city exploration, the Babyzen YOYO+ is even more compact and perfect for air travel. Its crowning feature is that its size, 20.5 x 17.3 x 7.1 inches when folded, means that it can fit in an airplane’s overhead compartment, as well as in a taxi once you get to your destination, but it has plenty of other perks as well.

Its small size and smooth ride also mean it’s a breeze to manage in a crowded airport. The easy-buckle button helps you get your kid in and out of the stroller quickly at the gate, and the stroller comes with a bag and shoulder strap so it’s easy to carry and stow.

Its swivel wheels have no need to lock because it’s so easy to steer, even with just one hand. You can also fold and unfold it one-handed, so you can manage luggage at the same time as the stroller. If you travel by plane a lot and take your baby with you, this isn’t just the stroller you want—it’s the high-end stroller you need.
