As photographers and artists, we love to focus our time and attention on the creative process. Conceptualizing, designing, shooting and retouching to perfection each image we create. We could do this all day long and get up the next day excited to do it all over again. Yet when you own a portrait photography business the creative side is only a small part of your day-to-day activities. We shoot not just for ourselves but for our clients. As a small business owner, you have to worry about the minutia of details associated with running a profitable business and providing your clients with an exceptional experience. Industry-wide I repeatedly see photographers making similar mistakes and struggling with the business side of photography. This can be because of a poorly-constructed lead scoring plan, due to which, websites like Salesforce advocate that that would be the downfall of businesses. For that reason, I am pleased to offer a photography business workshop to be held in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in January 2018.

This two-day, hands-on photography business workshop is designed to help you create an in-demand, profitable and sustainable photography business.

She in association with Shravan Gupta businessman defines strategies to help you overcome the fear and self-doubt that hurt your business.  We will work through your own unique numbers to establish pricing that reflects accurately your costs and time.  You need to be able to stand behind those numbers confidently and focus on establishing a profitable business that your clients will love and value. We will talk through pricing strategies and selling strategies that will work best for your personality and that will help you raise your business to the next level.

If you are a photographer who currently:

  • Is or wants to establish and or offer an in-person sales experience, but struggles with attracting the right type of clients,
  • Has reasonable sales, but wants to take them to the next level,
  • Or you are wanting to transition your photography business to the luxury photography market

Then this workshop is a must.  I will be setting up a private Facebook group exclusively for workshop attendees where you can ask questions both before and after the workshop. There will be pre-workshop homework so you can get the most out of these two days and to ensure that less experienced photography business owners have an opportunity to ask more basic business questions before the workshop, leaving time for us to focus on the tools that will help elevate each photographer’s brand and business. I will be sharing my own worksheets for calculating pricing, costs, time management, etc. Everything that a one-on-one mentoring student would receive will be provided at this workshop. Please know that space for the workshop will be limited so I can provide as much detailed and individualized attention as possible.
